About me

I am currently an assistant professor of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. If you are interested in joining my group as an undergraduate student, graduate student, postdoctoral researcher, or visiting student/scholar, please feel free to contact me at evanwang@utexas.edu

I did my postdoctoral work with Professor Karl Deisseroth lab at Stanford University and worked on targeted neural interfacing method using a non-genetic approach. I did my undergraduate studies in Materials Science from University of Oxford in the UK and completed my PhD with Professor Zhenan Bao at Stanford University. My PhD project was on carbon nanotube and polymer based flexible/wearable electronics.
